Research Trip Testimonials - October 2008
I just wanted you to know how pleased I have been with your assistance in my research while I attended your Ancestor Seekers Group program this past week. You have helped me greatly and I am so appreciative for your efforts on my behalf.
This is the second time that I have been a part of your group and I have been thrilled each time with the successes accomplished. You can be assured that I will be giving strong recommendations for attendance to anybody desiring assistance German research.

Wonderful experience. I imagine you'll be seeing me again and perhaps with my sister. I especially enjoyed the Tabernacle choir practice and would do that again. I wouldn't want to stay any place other than the Plaza Hotel. It was so wonderfully convenient to get back and forth to the Library and right where I wanted to be. Thanks again to you and Carol for a very productive experience. New mysteries arise every day in my ancestor's records and I continue to work for breakthroughs. Our "coaches" were very helpful as were the missionaries at the Library.

I thought everything was wonderful! I can’t wait to go back!

Because of the excellent arrangements made for us, and the first-rate assistance provided by the researchers, and the most interesting evening entertainments/tours, I am definitely planning to return to SLC at some point in the future. Having been there with your group, I think I would feel comfortable going on my own; but I loved the camaraderie and the “support group” atmosphere enough that, when I return, I will definitely be a part of one of your groups! Thanks for everything

The best part of the whole trip was the people! From Keith & Carol to the research assistants to the volunteers and librarians, everybody was so very willing to help. Never did I feel I was bothering them with my “silly” questions.

The week was wonderful. I learned new techniques for research in addition to several tips on obtaining information through the family research library. Each of the research assistants that helped me were very knowledgeable in their areas. Working from 9-4:30 for 5 days was a dream come true. The evenings that were planned were very interesting and informative. The Hale Theater was such a delight but the Tabernacle Choir Practice and Organ Recitals were the highlights for me. THANK you for each of the opportunities you provided for this most beneficial week. The cost factor was without a doubt the best money I have spent in a long time. THANKS

Thank you so much for an excellent research week (and holiday, as well). Everyone was so friendly -- the participants, the research advisors, my roommate, and certainly all the staff at any of the events. I expect to be making a presentation to our local Family History Society at some point, and will certainly be recommending this as an excellent introduction to Research at Salt Lake.

It was a trip that I had been looking forward to and had a lot of fear that I would not be able to find the information I needed. However, as you mentioned what usually happens, I did find the missing link at eleven am the last day. I found the researchers that were assigned to us to be patient, very aware of what resources were there and always able to provide an alternative to another route of research.
Thank you for a visit that exceeded my expectations.

Many serious family historians think they are very good at it. It is the different perspective coupled with the incredible expertise from the Ancestor Seekers staff which gives that special insight to open the way for a great breakthrough. Everyone doing Family History should attend an Ancestor Seekers Research Trip!
